The Painkiller
The Painkiller is an English language premiere of a French classic play which has a starring role for one of our footstools. Starring Kenneth Branagh and Rob Brydon, The Painkiller opens at the Lyric Theatre Belfast on September 23rd. It is a play where ‘One of them’s a killer and one of them wants to die. What could possibly go wrong?’
Brian is suicidal. And why not? He’s Swindon’s seventeenth best news photographer, dresses in casualwear, and sings ‘Lady in Red’ as spiritual salvation. Oh, and his wife just left him. He decides there is only one escape from his pain.
Ralph is at ease with the world. And why not? He’s the best there is, calls himself ‘John Smith’, dresses in Zegna, and carries a state of the art sniper rifle. But you’d never know. If forced to speak, he would say that he’s in the business of ‘pain removal’.
Two men. Two lonely hotel rooms. An adjoining door… On any other day, Brian would have successfully ended things. On any other day, Ralph would have successfully ended someone. But not today… Today’s different.

The regulations state that customers have the unconditional right to cancel orders within 7 working days without having to give us a reason. The 7 working days begin from the day after you receive the goods and if you wish to return your purchases in accordance with this regulation, we will provide a full refund for the purchase price of the goods. Please note that you will be liable for the carriage costs involved in the return of goods.
The charge for returning unwanted items is £45 per footstool, pouffe or drum & £85 for larger items such as benchstools and ottomans. These charges are to cover the costs of delivery back to our warehouse. Your refund will be forwarded to you within 30 days of us receiving the returned items.
It is important that the goods are in the original packaging and in the condition in which you received them.
